In its first lateral hire of the new year, 430-lawyer Jenner & Block is bringing on a new head for the firm’s New York corporate practice. On Tuesday, the firm announced that Goodwin Procter partner Wesley Fredericks had joined the firm.
Fredericks said in an interview that he was recruited by lawyer-turned-headhunter Richard Zakin. The two knew each other when both practiced in the New York office of Minneapolis-based Dorsey & Whitney about 15 years ago.
