The government of Taiwan has signed up Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in a push to persuade more members of Congress to visit the island nation.

Pillsbury filed a lobbying registration last week, and the registration is effective back to Nov. 15. Gregory Laughlin, a senior counsel at the firm and a former congressman from Texas, is the sole lobbyist listed on the registration.
