It’s the season of uncertainty for staffers in the San Francisco office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Firm management’s announcement Friday that the office would be closing at the end of June 2011 came as a surprise to many in nonmanagement positions, said one staffer who asked to remain anonymous. The mood is “not good,” the source said. “Some people are very upset.”
