Federal authorities in Miami said today they aren’t waiting for the next Scott Rothstein. They aim to stop fraudsters in the middle of their scam.
As part of the three-month nationwide sweep, federal authorities broke up 13 South Florida investment fraud cases. Prosecutors say 7,200 victims were defrauded of $610 million.
