Managing the disparity that grew during the recession between the highest and lowest paid partners is a looming issue for large law firms that could, as a result, see more lateral movement of partners or departures of high-performing practice groups, legal consultant Robert Denney said.
It was just one of the “hot” issues he pointed out in his 22nd annual “What’s Hot and What’s Not in the Legal Profession” report issued Monday.
