Q: I am a midlevel associate. Next fall, I will move into the senior associate ranks. I’ve basically spent the past four or so years keeping my head down and working hard. I would like to stay here and, if possible, become a partner. I know that it’s important these days to have clients, and I would like to be a rainmaker. What should I do to get started? Is it too late? I appreciate any advice.
