Ending an odd detour of his legal career, a New Orleans lawyer has been dismissed as a defendant from a suit brought by a man who claimed Kid Rock and his entourage beat him up.
Judge Johnny N. Panos of DeKalb County State Court late Thursday dismissed George P. Vourvoulias III from the suit brought by Harlen Akins, a music promoter whose scuffle with Kid Rock and others in a Waffle House can be seen on YouTube.
