As labor and employment law continues to be busy in the wake of what many experts have called a nationwide job crisis, Littler Mendelson, the largest labor and employment boutique in the country, has bulked up its nine-year-old Philadelphia office with the addition of Edward T. Ellis, former employment law head of Philadelphia-based Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads.

Ellis joined the San Francisco-based firm as a shareholder Aug. 30 after 22 years at Montgomery McCracken, where he was a partner and chair of the employment law department.
