DLA Piper has added to its Los Angeles office an intellectual property group from Hogan Lovells. The group includes Richard de Bodo, a former Hogan Lovells IP practice leader whose clients have included Dow Jones, News Corp., Eli Lilly and Panasonic. Joining him as partners are Siegmund Gutman, Robert Benson, Christopher Broderick, Troy Schmelzer and Lawrence McClure, who was of counsel at Hogan Lovells. Most of the team's work involves patent litigation. Their practice also includes patent prosecution.
