The second firm, the Kopelman Sitton Law Group, is winning so far. In July, a Georgia jury awarded the first firm, Martin & Jones, only $20,750. But an appeal is expected. And the lawyer who switched firms has brought a declaratory action against Martin & Jones; in response, that firm removed the action to federal court and filed a counterclaim.
