A dispute between longtime Philadelphia law partners Edward F. Chacker and Andrew G. Gay over shareholder payouts owed Gay in his retirement was quietly settled last month.

In a June 14 order, U.S. District Court Judge Eduardo C. Robreno for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed the suit with prejudice after it was reported that the issues between the parties were settled. No other details of the settlement were provided. According to the docket in Chacker v. Gay, a settlement conference was held before Magistrate Judge Thomas J. Rueter June 8.
