Linklaters has posted decreases in both revenues and profits for the last financial year as the Magic Circle firm becomes the latest of the United Kingdom’s elite law firms to announce its 2009-2010 results.

The firm saw profits per equity partner (PEP) fall by 7 percent, to 1.2 million pounds, while turnover dropped by 9 percent, from 1.3 billion pounds in 2008-2009 to a new mark of 1.2 billion pounds. Pre-tax profit decreased by 1.2 percent, to 507.2 million pounds.
