After nearly 20 years leading the world's largest in-house counsel association, Frederick Krebs announced this week that he will step down as president of the Washington, D.C.-based Association of Corporate Counsel next summer. Krebs said he is proudest of the diversity and growth of the association, which during his tenure increased its membership from 7,900 to more than 25,000, with 10 percent outside the United States. An ACC search committee hopes to choose a new president by the first quarter of 2011.
