Bingham McCutchen is set to launch in Germany with the hire of partner Jan Bayer from Broich Bezzenberger, marking the firm's first European office outside of London. The Frankfurt office is set to open July 1, with a focus on financial services. Prior to opening its own office, Bingham has been working out of Germany through a number of non-exclusive relationships with Weil Gotshal & Manges, Kirkland & Ellis and Broich Bezzenberger.

Bingham McCutchen is set to launch in Germany with the hire of partner Jan Bayer from Broich Bezzenberger, marking the firm’s first European office outside of London.
The U.S. firm will launch in Frankfurt on July 1, with Bayer as the resident partner, alongside new hire Christian Halasz who joins as counsel from Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker with a team of associates.
