The exact number is still being finalized and could go up to 20 lawyers, said James Rishwain Jr., chairman of Pillsbury. The group so far includes five partners, one of whom is Mats Carlston, previously head of global finance at Nixon Peabody. The defections to Pillsbury follow the recent departures of nine other Nixon Peabody partners to DLA Piper.
