Thinking of moving abroad to work in-house? Brazil may be your best bet, according to a new survey of in-house salaries around the world by international legal recruiting firm Laurence Simons. An influx of law firms into Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro has pushed up salaries for in-house and private practice alike. By contrast, the salary boom is a thing of the past for in-house lawyers in Russia and the Middle East, says the survey, which analyzed the salaries of more than 14,000 in-house lawyers over the last six years.
