A George Washington University law professor and a Bryan Cave partner have signed up to help represent U.S. District Judge G. Thomas Porteous Jr., who is facing a trial for removal by the Senate.

Jonathan Turley, the professor, will be co-lead counsel for Porteous along with Ober Kaler partner Richard Westling. Turley announced the representation Wednesday on his blog, adding that Bryan Cave partner Daniel Schwartz and associate Philip Meitl are also joining the team.
