A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the city of Pleasant Grove, Utah, over a monument displaying the Ten Commandments. The judge ruled that Pleasant Grove did not violate the U.S. Constitution when it accepted the monument for a city park but denied the Summum religious sect's request to erect a display of its Seven Aphorisms in the same park. The lawsuit was previously taken to the U.S. Supreme Court on a free-speech argument.
