Cuts in state funding are causing layoffs among attorneys and other staff members at some of the regional legal services offices around New Jersey.
At Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services, 25 of the 48 employees were told on April 16 that their jobs would end on June 30, Executive Director William Rempel said on April 19.
