Simmons & Simmons is losing a team of 20 lawyers from its Rome office, leaving it with just 11 partners in the city. Clients of the group include Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. Press reports have suggested the team will now move to DLA Piper. Simmons senior partner David Dickinson told Legal Week : "I wish them well. We have been very strong in Italy for a long time and it will certainly continue to be an important part of the network."

Simmons & Simmons is losing a team of 20 lawyers from its Rome office.
The team, which is headed by a quartet of partners, handed in their notice in the last few days.
The four partners are: Italy corporate chief Antonio Lombardo, Rome projects head Rodolfo Errore and corporate partners Ernesto Apuzzo and Francesco Aleandri.
