K&L Gates continues to expand its international footprint, announcing Tuesday that it has opened offices in Tokyo and Moscow. This comes on the heels of a number of lateral acquisitions in the new year as well as reports the firm reached more than $1 billion in gross revenue in 2009. K&L's entry to Japan brings the firm's Asia presence to six offices consisting of more than 80 legal professionals. The Moscow office helps to bridge the firm's Europe and Asia footprints.
