White & Case Recruits 50-Strong Team for Berlin Insolvency Launch

White & Case has launched an insolvency group in Berlin with the hire of an eight-lawyer team from a German firm. The group, which also includes 42 non-lawyers, joins the U.S. firm from insolvency boutique Schroder Rechtsanwalte. The departures represent about half of Schroder's lawyers, comprising three partners and five associates. The 42 non-lawyers include insolvency specialist case managers and legal clerks.
