The justices on Monday also affirmed Dewain Herring’s 30-year prison sentence.
South Carolina's Supreme Court has upheld a 66-year-old attorney's murder conviction, stemming from a shooting at a strip club. Prosecutors said Dewain Herring was so angry after getting kicked out of the club, he pulled a gun from his car and fired a shot at the club's door. The shot hit and killed the club owner.
