Allen & Overy has boosted its Hong Kong office with the hire of a litigation partner from Mallesons Stephen Jaques. White-collar crime specialist Simon Clarke is currently in discussions with Mallesons about the terms of his intended departure from the firm. Clarke has been a partner with Mallesons since the Australia-based practice merged with his former firm, Kwok & Yih, in 2004. He focuses on complex commercial litigation including advising on corporate collapses and international commercial fraud.
