Bird & Bird is considering converting to a legal disciplinary partnership in a move that could make it one of the largest U.K. law firms to do so. Bird is initially looking at allowing lawyers professionally qualified in jurisdictions not currently recognized by the U.K.'s Solicitors Regulation Authority into the partnership. This could include notaries and a number of the firm?s trademark and patent attorneys.
