A banker who earlier this year quit UBS AG, citing bonus politics, to join Linklaters‘ New York office has rejoined the Swiss financial institution, citing a change in the banking environment.

Lewis Steinberg, a former Cravath, Swaine & Moore tax partner, returned to UBS last week as global head of strategic solutions. It is the same position he held before signing on with Linklaters in April to co-head the firm’s U.S. practice and head its U.S. tax practice.
