The U.S. Marshals Service is putting Bernard Madoff's Long Island, N.Y., beach house on the market for $8.75 million as part of an ongoing effort to repay investors burned by Madoff's massive Ponzi scheme. Deputy U.S. Marshal Roland Ubaldo said furniture and any other personal belongings found inside the four-bedroom house, which Ubaldo described as "simple, stylish and understated," will be auctioned off. They range from "pieces of art to Ruth Madoff's shoes."
