Well, it's now official. Bingham McCutchen announced Monday that it has completed its acquisition of McKee Nelson, adding about 120 lawyers to Bingham's Washington, D.C., and New York offices. The merger gives Bingham access to McKee's core practice areas: tax, corporate/finance and business litigation. In related news, McKee Nelson partners Keith Krasney and Peter Morreale started work at Nixon Peabody on Monday, and have taken over as co-heads of Nixon's securitization and structured finance team.

The deal, which was first announced on July 6, adds about 120 lawyers to Bingham’s Washington, D.C., and New York offices. The combined firm now boasts over 1,100 lawyers worldwide.
