Debevoise & Plimpton said Tuesday that it had hired two banking partners from Goodwin Procter.
Gregory Lyons, the former co-chair of the financial services group at Goodwin and chair of its banking practice in Boston, will join Debevoise as a partner in New York. Lyons has in the past represented banks such as State Street Corp. before the Federal Reserve Board and other regulators. At Debevoise, Lyons will serve as co-chair for the Americas of the financial institutions group.
