The luxury midtown Manhattan apartment of disgraced attorney Marc S. Dreier was sold at auction for $8.2 million Tuesday afternoon. Dreier had purchased the apartment in 2007 for approximately $10.43 million, but was sentenced last week to 20 years in prison for orchestrating a multiyear Ponzi scheme that caused losses of more than $400 million to investors.
