Now it's a Web site that the corporate lawyer launched last March called Lawyer 4 Musicians, which aims to help musicians be savvier about business and the law. Kaplan, a partner at the 30-lawyer Chicago firm Stahl Cowen Crowley Addis, started the site after he realized that many musicians were struggling because they lacked business expertise. And now Kaplan can thank his blog for lots of readers, and even some new clients.
