New York-based Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has added as a partner John S. Moot, former chief of staff and general counsel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Moot, who previously was a partner at the law firm, will return to its energy regulation and litigation group in Washington. Joining Skadden in 1992 and practicing as a partner from 1999 to 2005, Moot served as appellate counsel on matters before the FERC, and before public utility commissions and federal and state courts.
