The American Bar Association House of Delegates approved with little debate the vast majority of resolutions on the first day of the policy-making body's session, part of the six-day ABA annual meeting. Among the recommendations winning approval was one to change the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct to require in-house counsel working continuously for a company in a jurisdiction where they are not licensed to register with the attorney-regulating body and to pay a fee.
