It's early August, and summer programs all over the country are winding down, if they haven't already ended. Even with just a few days remaining, Lynne Traverse, recruiting and professional development manager at Bryan Cave, suggests a handful of actions summer associates can take to wind down their summer program in a way that ensures they and the firm will feel good about the experience. Because with the economy no better now than it was in May, finishing strong is that much more essential.

Chances are you have completed a good number of assignments, attended a majority of the planned events and had lunch or other one-on-one meetings with several lawyers in the firm.
