All you get is a lectern in the middle of an empty stage and a microphone. As a listener, when Asher sees that setup, he gets nervous. So how can a lawyer hold an audience's attention? Through telling stories, Asher says. Even if you're not as compelling as Colin Powell, Asher says storytelling is a way to keep an audience spellbound.
