Shearman & Sterling has lost lead London M&A partner Peter King to Weil, Gotshal & Manges. The move is the fourth major loss for Shearman’s London office since November 2005.
King, whose recent clients have included Aer Lingus, HSBC and the Paragon Group, submitted his resignation letter Friday and announced his intention to join Weil Gotshal‘s corporate team in London.
