Two North Carolina law schools, Elon University School of Law in Greensboro and Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, have received provisional approval from the American Bar Association, raising to an even 200 the number of ABA-approved law schools nationwide. Meanwhile, in South Carolina, the Charleston School of Law has named Andy Abrams, professor and interim dean since January, as the school's dean. Abrams lists earning full accreditation of the school from the ABA as first among his goals.
