Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll has hired a new director of diversity six months after the first person to hold the position left the firm to start a consulting business.

Virginia G. Essandoh of Altman Weil was scheduled to start in her new role in Ballard Spahr’s Philadelphia office on Monday, taking over where Stacy Hawkins left off.
