New York University School of Law has formed the Institute for the Study of Regulation, a nonpartisan advocacy group and think tank committed to promoting economic analysis of environmental, public health and safety regulation. The institute will include faculty, a board of advisers from academia and the public policy arena and fellows. It plans to publish reports, policy briefs and papers and to work with nongovernmental organizations and state and federal regulators.
