Is becoming a lawyer in the genes? It very well could be for Lucy Pope Dodd's family. On Saturday, Dodd became the fifth generation graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Dodd's great-great-grandfather, in fact, was a member of the first graduating class in 1860. Dodd says she only applied to the University of Georgia Law School and would not have gone to law school had she not gotten in there. "I would have taken it as a sign," she says, adding that she probably would have gone into teaching.
