Katten Muchin Rosenman is creating a new practice group that will draw together attorneys focused on protecting clients against consumer class actions. The 650-attorney firm says it is creating the group, partly because of the growing prevalence of class actions and due to the "significant exposure and risk" that they pose for clients. Creating the group will allow more efficient and effective pooling of resources and expertise for the benefit of clients, the firm says.
