Jennifer Bluestein practiced law for four years before deciding to use her legal degree outside the practice of law. As an associate, she had grown frustrated with the lack of business training that practicing lawyers receive. So Bluestein decided to work for a consulting firm to connect with lawyers on how to balance the billable hour with professional growth beyond the practice of law. Then one client, Baker & McKenzie, hired her on in the newly created position of professional development director.
