Brad Karp, chair of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, leads a firm of more than 700 lawyers in New York with the energy, vision and leadership that has left an imprint on the firm, the profession and the legal community.
Karp started Paul Weiss’ financial institutions litigation and regulatory practices section 13 years ago. He has guided institutions and corporations through the financial meltdown and subprime-related litigation jungle, tried and won four multibillion-dollar lawsuits for Citigroup and successfully defended the global bank in SEC v. Citigroup, one of the most important white-collar matters of the past several years.
