H&R Block was hit with a data breach class action that centers on a cyberattack which allegedly exposed the personally identifying data of approximately 23,000 individuals.
Takeaway: The suit is one of many against corporations accused of failing to take proper precautions to protect the personally identifying information of its customers and failing to properly inform those affected.
