The Fiduciary Institute has opened registration for its 2024 training course designed to educate and empower the next generation of fiduciary wealth management professionals.

Faculty from the institute will offer six classes remotely over 14 weeks, starting June 25. The deadline to sign up is June 21, but registration will close when the cap of 24 participants is reached. Financial industry professionals can get more information and request registration via [email protected].

The course, “Making the Future of Financial Planning,” is tailored for “the next generation of financial planning leaders.” It is taught by veteran planning leaders and subject matter experts who will provide the knowledge and insights young planners need to think strategically to advance their capabilities and careers.

Students will attend and complete work in teams, with teams being evaluated based on submission of a review paper. Authors of successful papers will receive a course certificate. Classes will include readings, provided by faculty, and will facilitate discussion of the faculty presentations and readings.

There are two fee schedules. For students who are participating in the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard Real Fiduciary Advisors curriculum, the fee is $275. For others the fee is $425.

Faculty on the course include:

  • Harold Evensky, founder of Evensky & Katz;
  • Cheryl Holland, founder of Abacus Planning Group;
  • Elizabeth Jetton, adjunct professor at Golden Gate University;
  • Rick Kahler, president of Kahler Financial Group;
  • Ross Levin, founder and shareholder at Accredited Investors;
  • Andrea Millar, founder of Andrea Millar Life Planning;
  • Daniel Moisand, co-founder and advisor at Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo;
  • Dan Solin, an advisor marketing expert at Solin Consulting; and
  • Knut Rostad, founder and president at the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard.

Envestnet is a co-sponsor of the course this year, following its premiere in 2023.
