In 2022, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and Law.com International spoke to lawyers on the ground who were attempting to run their businesses as smoothly as possible, whilst grappling with the constant threat of attack and concern for the safety of their loved ones.
With last Saturday marking two years since the invasion began, Law.com International sat down with one of Ukraine's leading lawyers, managing partner at Arzinger, Timur Bondaryev and Doughty Street Chambers barrister and adviser to the Justice for Ukraine campaign, Aarif Abraham, to hear about not only the realities of daily life as a lawyer in Ukraine over the past year, but also the huge effort toward eventual restitution.
