A host of defendants, including BP Energy Co. and Chevron Natural Gas, were hit with a consumer class action lawsuit in federal court by residents of Kansas, for alleged violations of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act when they engaged in "price gouging" during Winter Storm Uri.
