With office real estate costs likely to remain a financial burden for the legal industry, some Am Law 200 law firms are unveiling new and renovated office spaces they say are leaner and more flexible but can still cater to growth and expansion.

Lathrop GPM this week announced a more hybrid-friendly office environment in Chicago—the fourth of its locations “to be transformed into a more modern workspace,” the firm noted. Meanwhile, Norton Rose Fulbright also recently opened the doors of its new space in a tech-friendly neighborhood in the Windy City, one that leaders say is focused on flexibility and collaboration.
