Amanda Border is a corporate partner in Kirkland & Ellis’ Boston office and one of the youngest U.S. women at Kirkland to make equity partner. She represents firm clients in complex corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, growth equity and minority investments, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and general corporate matters relating to the portfolio companies of private equity clients. Border strives to deliver to her clients the right balance of legal and business advice. Her clients have described her as responsive, thoughtful and an overall valuable powerhouse. She currently serves as the co-chair of recruiting and hiring in Boston.
