A Washington state attorney convicted of driving under the influence and lying to law enforcement and an insurance company about a hit-and-run accident received a six-month suspension from practicing law, the Washington State Bar Association announced.
Bainbridge Island attorney John D. Du Wors violated multiple rules of professional conduct with his convictions for obstructing police officers investigating the accident he lied about committing and driving under the influence, the WSBA said.
